SUMMARY:Film: Pandaemonium
DESCRIPTION:
A dramatization of the professional relationship and friendship between English Romantic poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772–1834) and William Wordsworth. Cast includes Linus Roache, John Hannah and Samantha Morton (The Whale, She Said). Directed by Julien Temple, best known for several punk music related films such as The Filth and the Fury (2000), and for the sci-fi comedy Earth Girls are Easy (1988). Wildly historically inaccurate, but rewarding as a stylish celebration of freethinking — and for its visions of excess, including the Coleridge poem Kubla Khan. Not widely available on disc or movie streaming services.
