Show artistic skill and personal vision in your application for competitive visual arts high schools or colleges. Work closely with a professional and experienced portfolio advisor while working from life. By the end of this series students will have completed work showing shading and tones, shadow and light and creating volume and facial/body proportion. Gain understanding of and practice with professional artists’ materials including pencil, charcoal, pastel and a variety of papers free of charge. Offered in partnership with San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. Space is limited, register on Eventbrite or by calling (415) 557-4550. Participants must be in middle or high school.
