<p>Neeli Cherkovski is the author of many books of poetry and prose. He is the recipient of the PEN Josephine Miles National Award and an emeritus of the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library Literary Laureate. Neeli is also the author of biographies of Charles Bukowski and Lawrence Ferlinghetti.&nbsp;</p>
