Book Club: Somewhere in Time historical fiction

Monday, 5/23/2022
7:30 - 8:30

If you enjoy some history in your fiction, spend an hour hashing out the details of—and the history behind—this month’s novel, Shawna Yang Ryan’s Water Ghosts. When three bedraggled Chinese women suddenly appear out of the mist one afternoon in 1928 in the small Chinese farming town of Locke, California, on the Sacramento River, their arrival throws the community into confusion.
