Excelsior Branch audio-visual booth for community use

Available for use in the sound booth

  • Macintosh laptop with the following software: GarageBand, iMovie, and Photo Booth
  • Microphone
  • Headphones

The sound booth is intended for up to two-hour sound/video recording or editing sessions for a broad number of library users. To encourage the broadest possible use of the sound booth, we ask that you limit your party’s signup to once per day.

Users interested in reserving the booth need to have a library card in good standing. The usage agreement needs to be completed at the branch before the session starts and requires the branch hold an ID or a library card during use. Recording booth sessions end 15 minutes prior to the library closing.

Sign up by phone or in person at Excelsior Branch. 415-355-2868. Address is 4400 Mission Street, San Francisco.

All times are according to the Library’s clock.
