Panelists will discuss and explore the relationship between architecture, acoustics and the live performance experience and how it has influenced musical venues throughout the Bay Area that have yielded some of the most memorable Latin music performances.

Panelists include architect Mark Cavagnero, whose projects include the new SFJAZZ Center; Kurt Graffy, Associate Principal at ARUP’s acoustics lab; five-time Grammy nominated musician and producer; Wayne Wallace; and moderator, John King of the San Francisco Chronicle.  A brief audience Q & A will follow the panel discussion.  This program is presented in partnership with AIA San Francisco.
