In honor of Black History Month and the beginning of Hollywood's Award season, Potrero Branch will be showing award-winning movies about  African Americans.
 This week:
DO THE RIGHT THING starring Spike Lee and Danny Aiello. On the hottest day of the year on a street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, everyone's hate and bigotry smolders and builds until it explodes into violence. The movie was nominated for 2 Oscars and 4 Golden Globes.
 Light refreshments will be served.
