Jane Philomen Cleland and Rick Gerharter have photographed the LGBT community in San Francisco for 25+ years.  Their exquisite portraits grow from each of their personal visual imaginations. Jane and Rick made portraits of the gay community as the gay community made history.

Sponsored by the James C. Hormel Gay and Lesbian Center and the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.

Opening event: Sunday November 1, 1:00. Koret Auditorium.

Daily & Transcendent: Creating a Visual History of San Francisco's Queer Community, Panel discussion December 2, 6:00 Latino Hispanic Community Room.
