This exhibits showcases artifacts demonstrating the relationship of queer culture to dominant American culture, including a Gay Bob doll, Queer trivia game, Queer Beer, and a rare 1600s broadside. These objects speak to the desire to put a queer stamp on popular games and everyday objects. Hormel LGBTQIA Center, the gateway to the Library’s broader collections documenting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and allies’ history and culture, with a special emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area.
