Barack Obama: A Legacy of Hope serves as a tribute to the 44th president of the United States, who brought pride to the African American community and millions of people throughout the world. Items on display follow his path from early childhood to his years in the White House. The exhibit is derived from the personal collection of Francee Covington, who states: "I hope everyone will enjoy this exhibit and celebrate the fact that for eight years we had a compassionate gentleman and scholar as our president."

These cultural events are free and open to the public.
