Join us for a lively discusssion of ONE CITY ONE BOOK

Bold, engrossing, and richly detailed, Black against Empire: The History and Politics of the Black Panther Party cuts through the mythology surrounding the Black Panther Party and explores why the party grew most rapidly during the height of repression, and why allies abandoned the party at its peak of influence.

One City One Book is San Francisco's citywide book club.
In 2017, we're reading Black against Empire: The History and Politics of the Black Panther Party by Joshua Bloom and Waldo E. Martin Jr.
