The Hormel center is hosting teen author Lisa Freeman, Honey Girl and Riptide Summer, where she will be reading from her books and then hosting a writing workshop for Teens to read and discuss their own coming out stories.

Q&A and book signing will follow event. 

Gather, share knowledge and celebrate our unique identities at the queerest library ever. Visit the James C. Hormel LGBTQIA Center, the gateway to the Library’s broader collections documenting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and allies’ history and culture, with a special emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area.

This is a Reading, Writing & Poetry program from SFPL. We love reading/sharing/creating words.
