Creative Ways to Tell Your Life Story

Would you like to sharpen your memories, learn more about the meaning of your life, and share your stories with others? Then please join us for this 9-week class series Thursdays from January 18th to March 15th. We will learn how to examine our life journey including the major events, accomplishments and relationships that happened along the way. In each session we will engage in personal development activities as well as complete and share a two-page narrative. Activities and exercises are based on the work of recognized gerontologist, James Birren, Ph.D.

Picture of InstructorInstructor Hope Levy has over 20 years teaching experience and holds an MA in Gerontology and an MA in Special Education from SF State University. Through her work, Hope promotes positive aging through her passion for lifelong learning. The Encore Learning Department of City College offers classes designed for adults 55 years old or better, though all are welcome to attend. For more information, call 415-355-5600. All classes are free.

This is a Wise Up! program for learning and living well at any age.
