book coverOn Thursday August 1, please join our book club's discussion of Nobel prize-winning author V.S. Naipaul’s comic 1961 novel, A House for Mr. Biswas. The hero of Naipaul’s tale, Mohun Biswas, grows up in rural Trinidad and marries young. Unhappy with relying upon his wife’s large traditional family, Mohun Biswas strives unceasingly to acquire a house and a meaningful life of his own.

This is a Reading, Writing & Poetry program from SFPL. We love reading/sharing/creating words.
