Poverty & Disability Scholars Leroy F. Moore Jr. & Lisa “Tiny” Gray Garcia of POOR Magazine read from their new children’s books, Black Disabled Art History 101 & The Hard Worker, as well as talk about the realities of Black/Brown poor people with and without disabilities.

San Francisco Poet Laureate Kim Shuck will host the event.

Events for adults and children dealing with disabilities, their families, friends and allies.

This is a Performance program from SFPL. We host events featuring music, art, dance and more.

These cultural events are free and open to the public.
