Neruda (2016, Rated R, 108min, Spanish with English subtitles)

An investigator launches a search for Pablo Neruda, a Nobel Prize-winning Chilean poet, who became a fugitive in his own country for his Communist leanings during the 1940s.

Directed by the award-winning filmmaker Pablo Larrain ("Jackie"), this Golden Globe-nominated film features international star Gael Garcia Bernal as a policeman chasing Pablo Neruda, perhaps the most important poet of the 20th century and a hugely influential political figure.

This is a Films & Videos program from SFPL. From feature films to youth-made videos, we’ve got something great to watch.
