Mar. 20: How Memory Works: Informational Processing Model

The brain is like any muscle in the body. The old saying "use it or lose it" really does apply. This class will improve your memory and cognitive vitality in fun, challenging, and creative ways. You will also learn how to conquer memory challenges, such as remembering names and managing “tip of the tongue syndrome.” This 9-week class series meets every Tuesday from February 20 - May 1, 2018. Instructor Hope Levy has over 20 years teaching experience. She holds an MA in Gerontology and an MA in Special Education from SF State University.

The Encore Learning Department of City College sponsors this class in partnership with the San Francisco Public Library.

This is a Wise Up! program for learning and living well at any age.
