We did it, so can you! WALKING San Francisco’s 49 Mile Scenic Drive

Sure, we’ve all driven a part of SF’s 49 Mile Drive, but hiked it? Let Kristine Poggioli and Carolyn Eidson, authors of Walking San Francisco’s 49 Mile Scenic Drive, inspire and delight you with how they broke down “the Drive” into 17 bite-size WALKS—complete with turn-by-turn instructions, tons of photos, SF history and fun facts. Come get inspired to get out walking in the City (They lost a combined 75 lbs on their one-year journey!). Or just come enjoy the show.

The 49 Mile Drive is celebrating its 80th anniversary and winds through both famous and little known neighborhoods in our charming City by the Bay. Autographed books—and seagull signs—available for sale at the event.

Co-authors Kristine Poggioli and Carolyn Eidson are the first people known to have walked the entire 49 Mile Scenic Drive.  Kristine is a native San Franciscan, copywriter and storyteller with a B.A. in History from U. C. Berkeley. Carolyn is an award winning filmmaker, comedian, passionate Weight Watcher Leader, and San Francisco Scooter Girl.
