African American Quilts image

Learn how quilt designs were used during slavery along the Underground Railroad, handle artifacts, and help make a quilt. Use fabric scraps, glue, cardboard, and your imagination to contribute to our cooperative no-sew quilt and wall-hanging for the library. The community quilt will hang in the library for all to enjoy!  Limited to 20 people.  Please call (415)355-5615 to register.

This is a Green Stacks event sponsored by the San Francisco Department of the Environment.

These cultural events are free and open to the public. See More Than a Month for the complete program guide.
