Explore traditional and communal fabric arts with MCD. Inspired by local and national fabric practices, create your own sculptural piece using recycled fabrics.
For this workshop we are inspired especially by the art of Ramekon O'Arwisters and his use of the Southern rag rug tradition in a social context, combining older fabrics using crochet techniques. We will have adaptable methods and tools for participants, including a hand-crochet option.

This is a Making & Creative Arts program from SFPL. Create with us- from clothes to robots to so much more. All materials are provided, unless noted.

These cultural events are free and open to the public. See More Than a Month for the complete program guide.
