Kids and parents can come to the Main Children's Center and have fun together making a simple video game by using ScratchJr (an easy-to-learn programming language designed by the MIT Media Lab).

A family learning activity for kids ages 5 to 7 and their grown-ups. Parent participation required.

Why? Children learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer. Coding is an essential 21st century literacy.
