Sita Sings the Blues

Written, directed, produced and animated by artist Nina Paley, Sita Sings the Blues is a musical romantic comedy-drama of the epic Indian tale of Ramayana.  The story is presented in the medium of animation in several styles.  Winner of a number of awards, including Best Animation in the Santa Fe Film Festival (2008).  In English with subtitles.  83 mins.  Refreshments provided.
