SFPL is honored to announce its 15th Annual One City One Book selection, There There by Tommy Orange. Come to our One City One Book book club to meet your neighbors and enjoy the company of others while discussing this important novel.

There There was one of The New York Times Book Review’s 10 Best Books of the Year, and won the PEN/Hemingway Award for Best First Novel, Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Orange is a recent graduate from the MFA program at the Institute of American Indian Arts, and is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma. He was born and raised in Oakland, California.

About the Author

One City One Book is San Francisco's annual citywide literary event, encouraging our community to read the same book at the same time and then discuss it in book groups and events throughout the City.
