In this award winning Mexican film, Pedro returns to Mexico after years of working in the US to find his daughters older and distant. With some savings, he hopes to make his family’s life better and fulfill his dream of starting a band. There’s work in a nearby growing city but the locals are weary, concerned with family and opportunities north of the border. While working, Pedro befriends a teenager who longs for a trip to the US.
