Quilt and Fabric artwork
Event detail

Using everyday materials such as fabric, silk, willow branches and ivy, fabric artist Kimiko Kogure tries to express the strength of unity. Small, forgotten pieces of fabric can create harmony, remnants of cherished cloths can rekindle memories tucked away, low grade silk can bring warmth and perseverance can transform fragility into beauty.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month celebrates Asian/Pacific Islander American heritage, with special events filled with dance, music and art, exhibits, author talks, crafts, delicious food and creative programs for all ages.
