The earliest known use of chocolate is traced to the Olmecs of Mexico. Its scientific name, Theobroma Cacao, means "Food of the Gods" and was widely imbibed in ancient Latin American cultures.

Author and food educator, KJ Landis will introduce the history and heath benefits of chocolate. You will have the opportunity to sample a spectrum, from inexpensive milk chocolates to luxurious and healthy extra dark chocolates, made with best beans, fats, sweeteners and other tastes.

No advanced signup required, but come early to assure you get tastes!

Please be aware of food allergies. This is a Food, Health & Wellness program from SFPL.
