This two-day workshop will equip job seekers with the knowledge and skills they need to find work in the gig economy. Topics to be covered include:
The two classes will equip job seekers with the knowledge and skills they need to find work in the gig economy.  
Topics to be covered:
- Understanding what independent work is and how it can support your goals
- Getting and doing gig work
- Customer service and time management
- Finances and taxes
This course is designed for people who: 
- are unemployed and want to get back to work fast
- want to earn extra cash on their own schedule
- want to build work experience in their professional field
The Thu. Jan. 30 class will pick up where this class leaves off, so attendance at both sessions is recommended.
