DESCRIPTION:<p>We'll be pausing David Lynch's dark surreal masterpiece, <i>Blue Velvet</i>, to draw striking frames. Drawing From Film is a fun way to expand your visual imagination and vocabulary.</p><p>Basic drawing materials (pencils, paper, erasers) will be provided. You may bring your own materials, but please no fume-creating paint or paint pens. Watercolor, ink and gouache are fine.</p><p>This is a self-led event; there will be no instruction or feedback. However, there will be an opportunity at the end of the session to look at others' drawings and show your own. All levels of drawing experience are welcome.</p><p>R, 120 mins., 1986. Closed Captions (CC) in English. Due to pauses for drawing, the full film will not be shown.</p>
