Join us for a special presentation by the Zingeray ensemble of the Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco, still singing strong in its 99th year! We will be treated to many songs in Yiddish, with a few in Ladino, Hebrew, and English as well.
We’ll all be encouraged to sing along and joyfully raise our voices!
Though the Jewish Folk Chorus repertoire includes songs on many themes, it stays true to its roots in the labor movement by preserving and performing works from a library of Yiddish labor songs and songs of peace.
