SUMMARY:Workshop: CUAV series
DESCRIPTION:<p><a href="https://www.cuav.org/about-1">CUAV</a> provides an interactive workshop series for LGBTQ survivors of violence to work on the following wellness skills: self-determination, self-love, boundary-setting and request-making. These workshops are art-based and tailored to meet the needs of participants.&nbsp;</p><p>This is a 3-part series, and each workshop can be attended individually or as a complete series.</p><ul><li>The first workshop will cover <strong>Trans 101 / Gender 101</strong>, inviting participants to explore and deepen their understanding of gender and gender-based violence as experienced by trans and cis people in the LGBTQ+ community.</li><li>The second workshop will focus on <strong>Supporting Queer & Trans Survivors’ Self-Determination</strong>. In this interactive session, participants will become familiar with the dynamics of LGBTQ+ domestic violence (DV) and intimate partner violence (IPV), and develop trauma-informed tools to support survivors' self-determination.</li><li>The third workshop will provide foundational wellness skills, including self-love, boundary-setting, and request-making.</li></ul><p>Space is limited.
