DESCRIPTION:<p>Learn the basics of the ukulele including simple chord shapes and strumming patterns. Everything you need to start playing your first songs on the ukulele. This is part one of a two-part series.</p><p>In part two (<a href="https://sfpl.org/events/2025/05/18/workshop-beginner-ukulele-lesson-part-2">Sun., May 18, 2 p.m.</a>), we will take what we learned and try out some basic songs. We ask that participants attend both sessions.&nbsp;</p><p>We will have ukuleles available, but we encourage you to bring your own if you have one.&nbsp;</p><p>For ages 7-13. Space limited.
