DESCRIPTION:<p>Learn about your rights and responsibilities when it comes to managing and protecting your money. This workshop will cover basic banking account options, how to search for unclaimed assets, strategies for preventing fraud and steps you can take to protect and ensure access to your funds in the event of financial emergencies.</p><p>Participants will also learn about local resources for financial coaching, planning and building confidence with banking and money management.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>About the Presenter:</p><p>Erick Tenorio is the Bay Area Regional Manager with Self Help Federal Credit Union and Executive Director of RAICES, a financial capability organization based out of San Francisco.</p><p>Erick brings more than 25 years in the financial services industry and in the financial capability field, working closely with youth serving and community-based organizations throughout the Bay Area. Erick's workshops center on bringing awareness and resources to address the financial inequities impacting the economic wellness and mobility for many in our communities.</p><p>Erick is a San Francisco native and a student at San Francisco State University pursuing a degree in Sociology.</p>
