Bookmark Stories is a community art project that invites people to share their own or their family’s immigration journey, through a simple yet powerful medium: a bookmark. A bookmark can be a creative canvas for you to share your story about home. Whether your story begins with ancestors who arrived generations ago, a move across the country, growing up between cultures, life as part of a military family, Indigenous roots, being adopted, a multicultural family, an unknown heritage, a cherished family tradition, or simply a reflection on what "belonging" means to you—your story matters. Each bookmark will join the community collection displayed at the Stanford Health Library, Hoover Pavilion.
