DESCRIPTION:<p>Enhance your well-being with an empowering art session where you will create your self-portrait using accessible art materials. Through collage, water-based painting and writing, you’ll explore your artistic voice while building resilience and belonging. Materials provided. Bring a printed copy of a photo of you or a loved one, black and white or color, approximately 4x6.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-2810, email bhemgr@sfpl.org or sign-up at the reference desk.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Mabel Valdiviezo is an award-winning filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist who creates immersive work across film, video art, mixed media, and performance. Using a poetic visual language, her work explores migration, identity, belonging and healing justice.
