Shizue Seigel reads from The Tiger and the Cliff, a family saga about three generations of Japanese Americans navigating immigration, incarceration and forced assimilation across six decades. She will be in conversation about her multi-generational leap into family secrets with Nancy Wang of Eth-Noh-Tec.
Seigel is the founder/director of Write Now! SF Bay, which has supported San Francisco Bay Area writers and artists of color through workshops, events and anthologies since 2015. Wang is a master artist/storyteller and co-founder/director of Eth-Noh-Tec. She has performed nationally and globally for 1 million+ audience members.
