Kevin McKean is a veteran journalist who got into beekeeping eight years ago, after a life-long fascination with these gentle, intelligent insects—as well as a passion for honey! He’s been a San Francisco resident since 2000 and currently serves on the board of the San Francisco Beekeepers Association, the non-profit league of local beekeepers.
