DESCRIPTION:<p>Learn about the beauty, history&nbsp;and cultural importance of henna.&nbsp;For ages 13&ndash;18.</p>

<p>Participants will get their own henna design done by Renda Dabit and a take home henna kit. Space is limited. Program is at capacity, registration is FULL.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Renda&nbsp;Dabit with&nbsp;<a href="http://www.hennagarden.com/">Henna Garden Events</a>&nbsp;is&nbsp;a local henna artist since 1995 and has performed for many&nbsp;SWANA&nbsp;celebration with SFPL. She shares the history and culture of henna, also known as<strong>&nbsp;</strong>Lawsonia inermis.&nbsp;She brings in dried henna leaves, henna powder, and fresh henna paste for everyone to see the different stages of this plant, then&nbsp;Renda&nbsp;gets everyone involved with basic skills of hennaing regardless of one&rsquo;s artistic skills.</p>
