<p>Pam Peirce is a San Francisco-based gardener, author, photographer, and lecturer. She is celebrating publication of the 4<em>th&nbsp;</em>(30<em>th</em>&nbsp;Anniversary) edition of her classic regional gardening book,&nbsp;<a href="https://sfpl.bibliocommons.com/v2/record/S93C5897944"><em>Golden Gate Gardening</em></a>. (It includes useful recipes.) Pam taught horticulture at City College of San Francisco for nearly 30 years and writes widely on gardening and food issues.</p>
