DESCRIPTION:<p>Take a field trip to Muir Woods and learn about Redwood trees. Coast Redwoods are the tallest trees on the planet and only occur naturally on the Pacific Coast. Once a forest is established, they are resilient and resistant to almost every imaginable stressor, including droughts, insects, fires and floods.&nbsp;Together, we'll learn more about their past, their present, and their future in a changing world.</p>

<p>Space is limited and advance registration is required. Walk-in registration begins June 20. Stop by the Chinatown&nbsp;Branch Library to reserve your spot.&nbsp;Call-in registration begins July 10.</p>
