<p>Learn how to harness the power of the sun&rsquo;s energy for cooking. Combining history, science, and societal applications, learn how solar cooking promotes optimal health as well as environmental conservation.&nbsp;Laura Chinn-Smoot has been teaching and perfecting solar cookery for over twenty years.&nbsp;As a public school teacher she incorporated methods to include safety, nutrition, science, history, health, geography and environment.&nbsp;She will provide a variety of ovens to demonstrate the degree of difficulty from simple to complex dishes.&nbsp;</p>
