DESCRIPTION:<p>&nbsp;</p><p>Learn all about&nbsp;the history and tradition of the Afro-Peruvian Cajon drum from&nbsp;Juan de Dios Soto.</p><p><strong>Juan de Dios Soto,&nbsp;Director</strong></p><p>Peruvian dancer, musician, and founder of Tradicion Peruana Cultural Center, Juan de Dios Soto has taught and performed Cajon and Afro-Peruvian percussion since he came to the United States in 1991 from Lima, Peru. As part of his cultural traditions, Juan was raised playing the Cajon with his family and community.
