Thank you for your interest in our programs.</strong></i></p><p>Take charge of your diabetes with the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP): A 6-week workshop for individuals who have diabetes (or pre-diabetes), as well as family members or friends interested in learning more about these conditions.</p><p>Learn proven ways to take control of your diabetes and improve your quality of life, including:</p><ul><li>Understanding diabetes and meeting your short-term and long-term goals</li><li>Monitoring your body and taking medications</li><li>Eating healthy and exercising to prevent complications</li><li>Managing stress and improving communication with healthcare providers and caregivers</li></ul><p>Presented by On Lok. Classes meet once a week and are 2 hours long. DEEP is a certified diabetes self-management education program accredited by the American Diabetes Association. Reservation is required.
