Aprenda a utilizar una computadora en un dispositivo reacondicionado que será suyo para quedárselo. Esta serie de clases cubrirá la navegación por la computadora, la conexión al wifi, los fundamentos de internet y el correo electrónico, la creación y el almacenamiento de archivos, subir archivos y cómo utilizar la Biblioteca Pública de San Francisco por internet.

Los participantes que asistan al menos a dos de las tres sesiones de clase recibirán una computadora portátil reacondicionada para llevar a casa. Las computadoras portátiles se usarán para practicar en cada clase, y se distribuirán para llevar a casa en la segunda sesión. Las computadoras se entregan tal como están.

Los participantes no deben disponer de una computadora portátil propia. Es necesario inscribirse: llame al teléfono (415)355-2868.

Learn to use a computer on a refurbished device that will be yours to keep. This series of classes will cover navigating the computer interface, connecting to wifi, basics of the internet and email, creating and saving files, uploading files, and using San Francisco Public Library online.

Attendees who attend at least two out of the three class sessions will receive a refurbished laptop to take home. Laptops will be used for practice in each class, and will be distributed for take home at the second session. Laptops are given as-is.

Attendees should not already own a laptop of their own. Signups required: please call (415)355-2868.
