To build on the episode, we have assembled a panel about technology and the future of elections. Hear from Vahid Razavi, founder of Ethics in Tech, and Hugo Carbajal, performer and former collective member with the Mime Troupe.

 

Vahid Razavi is a technology veteran of Silicon Valley. Vahid has founded, advised and worked in senior management roles in Silicon Valley. He has published two books, The Age of Nepotism and Ethics In Tech and Lack Thereof. As a lifelong activist and humanitarian he has published hundreds of articles and videos on various social issues including tech industry and social injustice. He has previously worked for companies such as Amazon Web Services, Fast Search, Exodus Communications, Qwest Communications and was the founder of the Cloud Computing Company BizCloud. 

 

Hugo Carbajal has performed with great theatre companies in Denver, San Francisco Bay Area and Arizona. He is a former collective company member of the San Francisco Mime Troupe, and has worked with companies such as: Cal Shakes, Arizona Theatre Company, Marin Theatre Company, Shotgun Players, TeatroVision, Su Teatro among others. Hugo is grateful to have had the opportunity to co-star on television shows such as Scandal, Chance and most recently on Brooklyn Nine Nine
