The West Oakland to West Africa Poetry Exchange presents poets from the Bay Area, Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire transcending technological space using poetry to give voice to and heal ancestral memories. The reading will include both West African and local readers. Celebrate this beautifully written collection, which is optimistic about the ability of poetry to bring people together and share histories.
