Akbayan North America hosts a discussion on the current political situation in the Philippines. Among the developments to be addressed is the ascension of Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. to the presidency. Will the restoration of the Marcos family to national power lead to democracy's demise? Can the opposition survive and will Filipinos resist? Can the Filipino community make an impact?
