This display showcases pictures and videos about Chinese American World War II veterans and the Congressional Gold Medal they received. 

The videos include:

  • “Congressional Gold Medal Recipients: Chinese American Veterans” – talks about Chinese American WWII veterans and provides a historical background of the Chinese American community at that time
  • “Square and Circle Presents: Congress Honors Chinese American WWII Veterans” – describes how the Chinese American community lobbied Congress to give our Chinese American WWII veterans a Congressional Gold Medal and highlights the Washington, DC, ceremony that conferred the medal
  • “Square and Circle Presents: WWII Veterans Remembered” – the experiences of five Chinese American WWII veterans as told by the niece and daughters who are members of the Square and Circle Club
