Chaos prevails when the bubonic plague strikes the Algerian coastal city of Oran. In The Plague, Camus races the crescendo of human emotions from panic to the almost unendurable agony of isolation and death. 

The Plague is also available using the Internet Archives', National Emergency Library. The title may be checked out for 14 days.
