Take a shuttle from the Ortega Branch Library to experience the local wildlife that call Mountain Lake their home and read the picture book, I Wrote You a Note by Lizi Boyd, along part of the Anza/Mountain Lake Trail. After the guided exploration with a NPS Ranger, hop on the shuttle to return to the library.

Space is limited and advance registration is required. Stop by the Ortega Branch Library to reserve your spot. 

Be sure to bring a bottle of water, a bag lunch and snack, sunscreen and hat, an extra layer or jacket, comfortable walking shoes and your camera.
