Constance (Connie) Wolf was re-appointed by Mayor London Breed and elected President of the Commission in January 2022. Wolf was first appointed to the Library Commission in 2018. She has been a nonprofit executive in the arts, education, and museums for the past 30 years. Throughout her professional career, she has been dedicated to improving and enhancing the cultural life of communities and their citizens. Wolf served as the Director and CEO of the Contemporary Jewish Museum, where she oversaw the growth of a community-based institution into a new facility with a new program. She formerly served as the Director of the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University and as the Associate Director at the Whitney Museum. Currently she serves as a consultant leading the integration of a visual arts program into health care facilities at Stanford Health Care and UCSF. She is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees at Fort Mason Center for the Arts and Culture. Wolf received a BA in East Asian Studies from Stanford University.

Pete Huang was appointed by Mayor London Breed in October 2018. He is a Bay Area native and a passionate advocate for providing opportunities for all communities to connect, engage, and learn through technology. Professionally, Pete leads sales operations and other go-to-market efforts at a technology company in San Francisco. Previously, he was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. He holds a B.A. in political science and an M.S. in computer science, both from Northwestern University.

Jarie Bolander was appointed to the Library Commission by Mayor London Breed in January 2022.  Jarie is an engineer by training and an entrepreneur by nature with more than 25 years of bringing innovative solutions to markets such as Bluetooth, USB, RFID, and Semiconductor DNA sequencing. He is currently a partner at JSY PR & Marketing, a full-service PR and Marketing Firm. Jarie has published six books, the most recent is The Entrepreneurs Ethos: How to build a more ethical, inclusive, and resilient world. Prior to JSY PR & Marketing, he was co-founder and COO of Lab Sensor Solutions, a digital health company that is applying sensor technology to track the temperature and location of clinical samples to prevent spoilage. Jarie is a former board member of the North Panhandle Neighborhood Association (NOPNA) where he served as Recording Secretary, Vice President, and President. Under his leadership NOPNA helped recreate a more enjoyable Bay to Breakers foot race for everyone, which led to the establishment of the District 5 Neighborhood Action Committee (D5NAC.) He holds an MBA in Technology Management from UOP and a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.

Dr. Eurania Isabel López was appointed to the Library Commission by Mayor London Breed in October 2020. She is a life-long educator and an advocate for immigrants, students, and families in education, housing, employment, and social services.

She has touched the lives of students and community members in K12 public education and higher education, as well as nonprofits and community-based organizations. She is the current Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment at the San Francisco State University (SFSU). In her role, she creates different pathways for students to gain access to higher education. She also serves as a faculty advisor for multiple student organizations to continue her passion for supporting, mentoring, and inspiring first-generation students. Prior to that, She was the Director of Student Resources Service in the Graduate College of Education, creating different pathways for future K-12 teachers. She led the Step to College (STC) at SF State and was faculty in the Equity, Leadership Studies, and Instructional Technologies Department (ELSIT) for a decade.

Susan Mall was appointed to the Library Commission by Mayor Edwin Lee in February 2013. Now retired, Susan Mall was a development professional with a successful career of providing leadership, strategic planning and event production for non-profits in both the Jewish and the general community. Her areas of expertise were fund-raising, marketing and donor relations. She was a consultant to SFJAZZ, The Contemporary Jewish Museum, Jewish Vocational Services, and the Jewish Community Relations Council. For 25 years she worked at the Jewish Community Federation. Currently, she is a San Francisco Library Commissioner, a board member of Family House, the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra Committee, the San Francisco Jewish Film Institute, and the Alexander and June Maisin Foundation. She has a M.ED. from Loyola University in Chicago and a B.A. from Boston University.

Teresa Ono was appointed to the Commission by Mayor Gavin Newsom in May 2009. She currently serves as Cultural Heritage Fund Manager at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC).  She was the Director of Special Events and Advancement Services Manager at San Francisco State University ending in 2014. She had been Director of Development at the JCCCNC and in 2005, as Executive Director she raised over $300,000 to support 24 events of the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Japantown. Previously she worked for AT&T, rising to Director of Law and Government Affairs. She has a strong community background serving as Vice President and Treasurer of the Golden Gate chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) and President of the Buddhist Church of San Francisco. She served on the Executive Committee of the Cherry Blossom Festival as well as Past Chairperson of the Senior Appreciation Brunch and is a current member of the planning committee.

Dr. Mary J. Lomax-Ghirarduzzi was appointed to the San Francisco Library Commission by Mayor Edwin Lee in June 2014 and reappointed by Mayor London Breed in 2022. She has served as President of the Commission from 2014-2021, overseeing $170 million, 28-library system. She is an academic and thought leader on race, inclusive leadership, and faith-informed social justice. She is the inaugural vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and Full Tenured Professor of Communication at University of the Pacific (Pacific). She served as dean of students and vice provost of diversity and community engagement at University of San Francisco (USF) from 2008 to 2021. At USF, she led diversity initiatives that resulted in one of the most ethnically diverse university student bodies in the nation. She's also an affiliate faculty member at the Race and Equity Center at University of Southern California and president of the Northern California chapter of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education.
